Khelafat Majlis Amir Allama Abdul Basit Azad has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inquilab Mancha and a frontline figure of the July Revolution. Speaking to reporters late Thursday night, Azad conveyed his condolences through a phone call, praying for Hadi’s departed soul and offering sympathy to his grieving family.

Azad described Hadi as a true patriot and a strong voice against fascism, praising his lifelong dedication to political activism and social justice. Hadi had been known for his leadership in anti-authoritarian movements and his role in mobilizing youth activism across Bangladesh.

Hadi’s body is expected to arrive in the country this evening, with preparations underway for a public gathering in Shahbagh under the banner of the ‘Anti-Hegemony Platform.’ Authorities have temporarily restricted traffic in the area as supporters plan to pay their final respects.
