In the wake of the Bangladesh Air Force training jet crash near Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, authorities have decided to reserve a metro rail coach to facilitate the swift transport of the injured. The coach adjacent to the women-only compartment will be designated for this purpose.

The aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff on Monday, bursting into flames upon impact near the school’s academic building. At the time, classes were in session, resulting in injuries to numerous students—over 50 of whom have been admitted to various hospitals, including the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. Eight fire service units worked to bring the blaze under control.
