Chief Adviser Mohammad Yunus has urged Standard Chartered Bank’s Global CEO to advocate for Bangladesh and promote the interim government's reform initiatives internationally. He pointed out that Bangladesh has been the target of misleading propaganda and sought the CEO’s assistance in countering it. The adviser also requested cooperation in identifying and repatriating funds illegally smuggled abroad by Sheikh Hasina’s close associates. He stated that his government has already taken various steps to retrieve these assets.
