Five advisers from the interim government have inaugurated the 'July Martyrs' Memorial' in Narayanganj, built in remembrance of 56 people killed during a 36-day mass uprising. Speaking at the event, they vowed that justice for the July massacre would be delivered during the tenure of the current administration. They also announced the inauguration of a "Fascist Museum" at Gonobhaban on August 5. Family members of the martyrs were present, and saplings were planted in their memory.
