The interim government has declared August 8 as “New Bangladesh Day” and August 5 as “July Uprising Day,” marking the fall of the Awami League regime. In response, Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Manch, warned, “If the government observes August 8, we will observe it nationwide as ‘Revolution Betrayal Day.’”
