Maulana Ali Asgar, the Jamaat-e-Islami–nominated candidate and assistant secretary for training of the district Jamaat, has been unofficially declared the winner in the Pabna-3 constituency, which includes Bhangura, Faridpur, and Chatmohar. According to the announced results, he secured 147,475 votes, defeating his nearest rival, BNP-nominated candidate and central Krishak Dal president Hasan Zafir Tuhin, who received 144,206 votes. Independent candidate K.M. Anwarul Islam, contesting with the horse symbol, obtained 38,027 votes.

Voting in the constituency took place peacefully from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The election was reported to have concluded without incident, and the results reflect a narrow margin of 3,269 votes between the top two contenders.

The unofficial outcome marks a significant local result for Jamaat-e-Islami in Pabna district, pending any official confirmation or further announcements from the election authorities.
