Bangladesh released the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations simultaneously across all education boards at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026. Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon formally announced the results at the Education Ministry conference room, where chairmen of all education boards handed over the examination results. The overall pass rate this year was 62.25 percent.

A total of 116,676 students achieved GPA-5. In the 2025 SSC and equivalent examinations, the nationwide average pass rate was 68.45 percent and 139,032 students earned GPA-5. Across the nine general education boards, the average pass rate was 64.05 percent, down 3.99 percentage points from 68.04 percent last year.

Dhaka Board recorded the highest pass rate at 71.63 percent. Other board rates included 66.27 percent in Jashore, 65.42 percent in Cumilla, 63.67 percent in Rajshahi and 60.35 percent in Barishal. The pass rates were 59.48 percent in Chattogram, 58.33 percent in Sylhet, 58.05 percent in Dinajpur and 57.39 percent in Mymensingh. Madrasah Board recorded 55.49 percent, while Technical Board posted 58.20 percent.
