Police have arrested 19 individuals involved in various criminal activities during a special operation in Dhaka’s Jatrabari area. The operation was conducted by Jatrabari Police Station over the past 24 hours, according to Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Niaz Mehdi of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Media and Public Relations Division. The arrests were confirmed on Tuesday.

Authorities stated that the detainees include suspects from regular and warrant-based cases. Following the arrests, legal procedures were completed, and the individuals were sent to court. The operation targeted crime-prone areas within the Jatrabari police jurisdiction.

The police emphasized that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities in the capital and ensure public safety through intensified law enforcement actions.
