Bangladesh recorded the highest number of dengue hospitalizations in a single day this year, with 429 patients admitted between Sunday and Monday morning. Fortunately, no new deaths were reported. According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Barisal saw the highest number of admissions at 149, followed by Chattogram (57), areas outside Dhaka (61), Dhaka North (42), Dhaka South (45), Rajshahi (54), and Khulna (21). A total of 358 patients were discharged during the same period.
