Hefazat-e-Islam has demanded legal action against Murad Bin Amjad of Khulna for making allegedly disrespectful statements regarding fundamental Islamic rituals such as prayer (namaz), pilgrimage (hajj), the Black Stone (Hajr-e-Aswad), and the Kaaba Sharif. On Monday, they submitted a memorandum to the Khulna Deputy Commissioner accusing Murad of repeatedly posting blasphemous and provocative comments on social media that disrupt religious harmony and communal peace. They called for exemplary punishment under the law.
