The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs of Bangladesh has transferred 34 judges holding the rank of Joint District and Sessions Judge to new posts and workplaces. The order was issued on Sunday night through a notification from the Judicial Branch-3 of the Law and Justice Division. The directive instructs all transferred judges to hand over their current responsibilities and join their new workplaces by July 7, 2026.

According to the notification, the transfer was made in the public interest. Among the transferred judges, Nasima Talukder Munmun, listed as number seven, has been assigned to the Ministry of Public Administration to serve as a Deputy Director at the Anti-Corruption Commission. All other judges are required to assume their new duties within the specified timeframe.

The ministry’s order reflects a routine reshuffle within the judicial service, aimed at administrative reorganization and ensuring effective judicial operations across different regions.
