Speaking at the opening of Social Business Day, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus said all nations must act to change the world before it reaches the brink of destruction. “Bangladesh wants to build a beautiful world, not a depressing one,” Yunus declared. He described Social Business Day as a family reunion, noting that previous governments had opposed the celebration. This year’s event was the first since August 5. Yunus also stressed that social business is the only way to ensure universal healthcare and called for an education system built on teaching people how to dream. He said Grameen University will help build a new civilization.
