The agreement is scheduled to be formally signed on June 19 in Switzerland. On social media platform Truth Social, Donald Trump announced that the deal with Iran was complete and that he had authorized the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for toll-free navigation while ordering the immediate lifting of the U.S. naval blockade. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi also confirmed the peace agreement with the United States.
