The first group of 28 Bangladeshis seeking repatriation from war-torn Iran has successfully reached the Pakistan border by road. With assistance from the Pakistani government, they are expected to travel to Karachi and return to Bangladesh by air. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, most of those returning had gone to Iran for medical treatment. The Bangladesh Embassy in Tehran will continue to support any other nationals wishing to return home until the situation stabilizes. However, officials noted that with the easing of hostilities, most Bangladeshis are now opting to stay.
