All four parliamentary constituencies in Nilphamari district have been won by Jamaat-e-Islami candidates in Bangladesh’s 13th national election. The unofficial results were announced on Thursday night by District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nayiruzzaman after vote counting was completed.

In Nilphamari-1 (Domar-Dimla), Jamaat candidate Maulana Abdus Sattar received 149,214 votes, defeating BNP alliance candidate Maulana Manjurul Islam Afendi, who secured 118,160 votes. In Nilphamari-2 (Sadar), Jamaat’s Alfaruk Abdul Latif won with 145,202 votes against BNP’s Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, who got 134,579 votes. In Nilphamari-3 (Jaldhaka), Jamaat’s Maulana Obaidullah Salafi earned 108,560 votes, surpassing BNP’s Syed Ali with 89,102 votes. In Nilphamari-4 (Saidpur-Kishoreganj), Jamaat’s Hafiz Abdul Muntakim won with 124,865 votes, while BNP’s Abdul Gafur Sarkar received 81,526 votes.

The results mark a clean sweep for Jamaat in Nilphamari, as all four of its nominated candidates secured victory according to the unofficial district announcement.
