Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has alleged widespread vote rigging in 30 constituencies during the 13th National Parliamentary Election. At a press conference held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the party’s central office, Assistant Secretary General and spokesperson Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair announced that the party would seek suspension of results and initiate legal measures for recounts in the affected areas. He stated that irregularities included ballot manipulation, obstruction of voters, and removal of polling agents.

Zubair said the party had already informed returning officers and senior officials about the alleged irregularities on election day. He claimed that in some constituencies results were delayed intentionally, citing examples from several Dhaka seats where results were received at dawn. Jamaat also reported post-election violence against its candidates, supporters, and agents, including incidents of injury and death.

Jamaat candidate Dr. M.A. Mannan from Dhaka-6 further alleged that a private television channel declared another candidate winner before vote counting was completed.
