For the first time, Bangladeshi expatriates will be allowed to vote via proxy in the upcoming national elections, according to an announcement by the Election Commission. A mobile application will be developed for expatriates to register and designate a nominee who will cast their vote. The initiative follows a meeting between Chief Election Commissioner A. M. M. Nasir Uddin and British High Commissioner Sarah Cook.
