The tribunal has scheduled August 6 to issue an indictment order in the case of the killing of Abu Sayeed, the first martyr of the July Uprising. Six accused were brought to court in a prison van, including ASI Amir Hossain, former Begum Rokeya University proctor Shariful Islam, constable Sujon Chandra Roy, Chhatra League leader Imran Chowdhury, Rafiul Hasan Russell, and Anwar Parvez. Four state-appointed lawyers represented the absconding accused during today’s hearing.
