At least 10 people have died in separate lightning strike incidents across the country. The fatalities include three individuals in Madaripur’s Sadar and Rajoir upazilas, two housewives in Chilmarhi and Ulipur of Kurigram, a farmer in Kishoreganj’s Itna, a school student in Bhanga of Faridpur, a child in Kalihati of Tangail, a worker in Sherpur’s Sreebardi, and another farmer in Gomastapur, Chapainawabganj. Most of the victims were either working outdoors during the storm or had ventured out to help others return home safely.
