BNP leader Amir Khosru has stated that a certain political force is continuously devising new strategies to remain in power. However, he asserted that fascist regimes have failed to sustain themselves, and the people of Bangladesh are prepared to prevent this force from doing so as well. He emphasized that Bangladesh should remain free from fascism and that no force, whether fascist or otherwise, should be allowed to alter that reality. Khosru further remarked that following the fall of the fascist government, an electoral atmosphere is prevailing in the country. "For the past 16–17 years, we have fought for our aspirations—independence and democracy. That aspiration is for a parliament and government run by elected representatives who are accountable to the people. The people are eagerly waiting to see that aspiration fulfilled," he said.
