A 20-year-old woman was admitted to the intensive care unit of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi after being injured during a police operation at a protest organized by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Hospital sources said she is on ventilator support. The protest, held on Monday near Jantar Mantar, left 90 students injured, with 79 discharged by Tuesday morning. Police reported that over 118 officers and about 60 protesters were hurt, and more than 20 police vehicles were damaged.

India’s Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited Ram Manohar Lohia and Lady Hardinge hospitals to check on the injured and discuss their treatment with doctors. The protest began as a march toward Parliament demanding accountability over recent exam paper leaks. Despite Monday’s clashes, demonstrators regrouped at Jantar Mantar on Tuesday, prompting police to deploy additional forces and remove protest tents.

Political involvement has intensified, with Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Priyanka Gandhi leading a march toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence. Delhi Police have filed four FIRs related to the violence and plan to register two more cases under multiple laws.
