Eighteen-year-old CNG driver Naeem was brutally killed after being called out from his home in Dhaka's Kadamtali area on Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 10:30 AM near Rahela Manzil in Smritidhara Lane No. 8. His mother said he was sleeping when she left for work. Locals found him wounded and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he died. Police suspect previous enmity as the motive. One person has been detained. Locals blame rising crime on lack of effective policing.
