Manjurul Islam, the former central president of Islami Chhatra Shibir, stated that the July Revolution exposed the unprecedented massacre orchestrated by the Awami League and its affiliates. He asserted that justice for the slain students would only be realized when Sheikh Hasina and her associates are brought back to Bangladesh and tried. He condemned the deteriorating educational environment under the previous government, accusing the Chhatra League of turning campuses into centers of terror and drugs. He called for a conducive learning environment where all student organizations, including Islamic student groups, could coexist peacefully.
