Dr. A.N.M. Ehsanul Haque Milon, the candidate with the paddy sheaf symbol and former state minister for education, has been declared the unofficial winner in the Chandpur-1 (Kachua) constituency. The announcement was made on Thursday night, February 12, 2026, at the Upazila Parishad auditorium by Assistant Returning Officer Muhammad Mahmudul Hasan (Russel). According to the final results from all 110 centers, Milon received 133,162 votes, while his nearest rival, Jamaat candidate Muhaddis Abu Nasr Ashrafi, secured 67,077 votes.

In his reaction, Milon dedicated his victory to the people of Kachua, expressing gratitude for their trust and confidence in him. He described the result as a collective success for the constituency’s residents.

The report also mentioned other results from different constituencies, including BNP and Jamaat candidates winning in several areas, indicating broader electoral outcomes across the country.
