A father and son were killed when their motorcycle crashed into the back of a parked truck on the Habiganj-Shaistaganj bypass road on Saturday night. The accident occurred around 11 p.m. in the Poddarbari area. The victims were identified as Abdul Kaiyum, 55, and his son Zakir Hossain, 20, from Sultan Mahmudpur village in Sadar upazila. Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Sadar Modern Hospital.

According to police and local sources, Abdul Kaiyum was traveling with his son toward Dhuliakhal by motorcycle when they lost control and hit the stationary truck. Both sustained severe injuries. Locals rescued them and took them to Sadar Modern Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

The report did not mention the cause of the truck being parked on the road or whether any legal action followed the incident.
