Zainul Islam, the candidate of the Dāripalla symbol, has been declared the winner in the Dhaka-4 constituency by a margin of nearly three thousand votes. According to the final results announced at 4:30 a.m. by Dhaka Divisional Commissioner and Returning Officer Sharaf Uddin Ahmad Chowdhury, Zainul Islam received 77,367 votes, while his closest rival, Tanvir Ahmed of the Dhaner Shish symbol, secured 74,447 votes.
The announcement marks the conclusion of vote counting in Dhaka-4, where competition between the two candidates remained close. The results were made public early on February 13, 2026, confirming Zainul Islam’s narrow but decisive victory.
