A colorful joining ceremony organized by the Bangladesh Azad Party took place at the historic Bahadur Shah Park in Dhaka. More than 150 citizens, including retired military officers, social figures, and professionals, formally joined the party. The event was presided over by Brigadier General (Retd.) Hasinur Rahman, the party’s president, with Barrister Shahriar Kabir attending as the chief guest. New members were welcomed with flowers and warm greetings.

Several speakers, including retired officers and cultural organizers, expressed solidarity with the party’s ideals and programs. Leaders from seven other political parties also attended, voicing support and goodwill toward the Bangladesh Azad Party’s activities. Speakers highlighted the historical significance of Bahadur Shah Park, recalling its connection to the 1857 Sepoy Rebellion and its symbolic role in the subcontinent’s freedom struggle.

The event concluded with a visit to the tomb of Nawab Salimullah, where the party president reflected on his contributions to Dhaka’s development and the advancement of the Muslim community.
