Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed, nine election commissioners, and two former election secretaries over a treason case filed by BNP. The accused are currently absconding. The ban aims to prevent them from leaving the country during the ongoing investigation. The case alleges election manipulation and intimidation during the Awami League government. Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and several senior officials are also named in the case.
