Kushtia-3 Member of Parliament Mufti Amir Hamza has demanded the immediate arrest and legal action against those who attacked his brother-in-law and threatened to kill his wife in Chuadanga’s Jibannagar. The incident occurred on Monday at Hasadah Bazar, where Hamza’s family was attacked while traveling to their in-laws’ home. The MP made the demand in a Facebook post on Tuesday, urging authorities to ensure justice.

According to Hamza, his brother-in-law was severely injured in the assault, and the attackers fled before he arrived at the scene. He stated that law enforcement agencies have already launched operations to apprehend the suspects, who are reportedly on the run. Hamza expressed confidence in the administration’s efforts and sought prayers and support from the public.

Police from Jibannagar Police Station visited the scene, and a case was filed following the attack. Local residents identified the alleged attackers as Mostafizur Rahman Mostak and his sons Shahriar and Rimon from Hasadah Bazar.
