According to reports from The Wall Street Journal and other Western and Israeli media outlets, Israel is incurring approximately $200 million in daily economic losses as a result of sustained Iranian missile attacks. A significant portion of this expense stems from the operation of Israel’s missile defense systems, which are continuously engaged in intercepting Iranian strikes. Israeli daily Maariv reports that more than half of all shops in Tel Aviv have shuttered, marketplaces are deserted, and normal life has come to a standstill.
