Professor Mohammad Aslam Chowdhury, the BNP candidate with the 'sheaf of paddy' symbol, has won the Chattogram-4 (Sitakunda) parliamentary seat by a large margin. According to the final results announced on February 13, 2026, all 124 polling centers reported their outcomes. Aslam Chowdhury secured 142,674 votes, while his nearest rival, Md. Anwar Siddiqui, received 89,268 votes.

The vote difference between the two candidates stands at 53,406, which is considered one of the largest margins in recent times for this constituency. The results were confirmed by BNP party sources, highlighting a decisive victory for the opposition candidate in the Sitakunda area.

The report also mentioned other BNP and Jamaat victories in constituencies such as Pabna-5, Patuakhali, Meherpur-1, and Gaibandha-5, indicating broader electoral gains for the opposition alliance across multiple regions.
