BNP Standing Committee Member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain warned that any delay in elections beyond December could open the door to conspiracies. Expressing disappointment over the Chief Adviser’s remarks during his Japan visit, he said, “We all respect Dr. Yunus, but we were shocked to hear him say that only the BNP wants elections, and no one else does. That is simply not true.” Mosharraf reiterated that BNP wants elections by December and noted that 54 political parties have also expressed the same demand.
