A protest march and rally were held in Rangpur demanding the trial of the Awami League and the return of Sheikh Hasina to face justice. The demonstration took place on Tuesday afternoon, organized by Jatiya Chhatra Shakti Rangpur Metropolitan unit. The procession began at the Town Hall square, moved through major city streets, and concluded in front of the Press Club, where a brief rally was held.

Speakers including Imtiaz Ahmad Imti, convener of Jatiya Chhatra Shakti Rangpur, alleged that two years had passed since the July movement, during which many activists were killed or injured, but justice had not been served. They demanded punishment for those responsible for the violence and for what they described as decades of oppression by the Awami League. Senior joint convener Jamil Hossain called for the execution of Sheikh Hasina and the trial of those involved in past abuses.

Organizers also expressed solidarity with students protesting the continuation of HSC exams despite adverse weather conditions.
