Ninety-three trainee assistant superintendents of police have been transferred to different police units, according to a notification signed by Inspector General of Police Md Ali Hossain Fakir. The transfer order was issued on Monday and reported on July 27, 2026, with a list of the officers released.

The notification said the trainee assistant superintendents will join their new workplaces after satisfactorily completing their practical training. Their postings are therefore tied to the completion of that training requirement.

The officers have been assigned to units including the CID, DMP, RAB, Cox’s Bazar and Khulna. Other listed destinations are APBN, GMP, CMP, RPMP, KMP, SMP, BMP and Industrial Police.
