Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said an ice cream vendor in Croatia refused to sell ice cream to his daughter during a family holiday on the Croatian coast. Bennett recounted the alleged incident in an interview on the “Haida” podcast, published this week by Beit HaPodiam.

According to Bennett, his daughter Abigail was waiting in line for her order when the vendor asked where she was from. Bennett said that after she replied that she was from Israel, the vendor said, “No ice cream for Israelis.”
