White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said President Donald Trump is keeping all options open regarding Iran. In an interview with Fox News, Leavitt said the United States had conducted “Operation Epic Fury” to destroy Iran’s military and was now pursuing “Operation Economic Outcast” to destroy its economy.

Leavitt said there are currently no talks with Iran. She said pressure would continue until Trump believes Iran is prepared to engage in meaningful negotiations.

According to Leavitt, Iran has so far shown no interest in entering meaningful talks. She said the Trump administration is therefore considering every type of option for its next steps concerning Iran.
