Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Shahjahan Chowdhury has won the election in the Chattogram-15 (Satkania-Lohagara) constituency. The result was announced on Thursday, February 12, 2026. According to the final count, Shahjahan Chowdhury, who contested with the 'scales' symbol, received 172,061 votes, while BNP candidate Nazmul Mostafa Amin, represented by the 'paddy sheaf' symbol, secured 127,025 votes.

The constituency has a total of 491,787 registered voters, including 242,171 voters from nine unions of Lohagara upazila. Three candidates contested in this seat: Shahjahan Chowdhury from Jamaat-e-Islami, Nazmul Mostafa Amin from the BNP, and Shariful Alam Chowdhury from Islami Andolan Bangladesh, who ran with the 'hand fan' symbol.
