A government source has confirmed that an official announcement will be made soon. Although Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam was considered for the role, he was instead promoted to Senior Secretary due to the current political climate. Mahfuz Alam, who was initially appointed as an adviser on November 10, had not been assigned any ministry until now.
