A collision occurred between the Dhaka-bound Dhumketu Express and the Panchagarh-bound Banglabandha Express near Rajshahi Station’s wash pit. Wash Pit Supervisor Shahabul Islam stated that a signal malfunction caused Banglabandha Express to derail after striking Dhumketu Express. Multiple coaches from both trains were damaged.
