At least 10 people were killed, and 19 others injured in a collision between a bus and a car in Uttar Pradesh, India. According to NDTV, the victims were traveling to the Maha Kumbh Mela for a ritual bath at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has directed authorities to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and arrange relief efforts. Earlier, on January 29, a stampede at the Maha Kumbh Mela resulted in 30 deaths and 60 injuries. The event, which started on January 13, is set to conclude on February 26.
