Fars, an IRGC-affiliated outlet, reported that Khamenei was killed early Saturday while on duty in his office. The attack also claimed the lives of his daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. Following the incident, the Iranian government declared 40 days of national mourning and announced a seven-day public holiday.
