The army seized two government-labeled rice trucks in Singra, Natore—allegedly owned by Awami League leader Rezaul Karim Raju. The 16-ton, 210-kg haul has not yet been handed over to Singra police. Raju claimed the rice was legally acquired through purchases from local union council members and was meant for resale in Natore. The rice had been allocated under various government programs, including food-for-work schemes.
