Bangladesh’s Attorney General AM Asaduzzaman has claimed that the abolition of the 13th constitutional amendment marked the destruction of democracy and the judiciary in the country. He stated that the verdict led to widespread extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances.

Speaking at a conference, Asaduzzaman also highlighted the importance of environmental law and climate justice, stating that environmental degradation poses significant risks to human life.
