Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel will assume full control of Gaza once the war ends. "Israel has a clear and just objective—to defeat Hamas. We are fully committed to achieving that goal," Netanyahu stated. He added that at least 20 Israeli hostages are believed to be alive in Gaza. "If a temporary ceasefire becomes necessary to secure the release of hostages, we are open to it," he noted. Netanyahu also outlined three immediate objectives: delivering essential aid to the region, establishing food distribution points with the help of U.S. companies, and creating a designated area to ensure civilian safety under Israeli security control.
