A Dhaka court has remanded former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun and ex-Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Hasan in connection with two murder cases linked to mass uprisings in Jatrabari. Mamun has been placed on a four-day remand in the Shahid Sayem murder case, while Hasan received a two-day remand for the killing of 22-year-old Shahid Bakaul.
