The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has handed over 14 Bangladeshi nationals to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) through a flag meeting at the Satkhira border. The handover took place on Sunday evening around 7 p.m. The group had been detained on Saturday night around 11 p.m. at Hakimpur border checkpoint in India. Following the return, BGB’s Subedar Md. Abul Kashem filed a general diary with Satkhira Police Station. Officials confirmed that after verifying their identities, the detainees will be reunited with their families.
