BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul and senior party leaders welcomed Khaleda Zia at Dhaka Airport upon her return from London. She was accompanied in her vehicle by her daughters-in-law Dr. Zubaida Rahman and Syeda Sharmila Rahman. Supporters lined the airport road, cheering and expressing hope that Zia would once again lead the party and contribute to the restoration of democracy in Bangladesh.
