Farooq Ahmed, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, said his brother Mohammad Iqbal was killed in a madrasa during India-Pakistan border clashes on May 7. “Several Indian media outlets falsely labeled Iqbal a terrorist without any proof,” Farooq said. Police later contradicted those claims in an official statement.
