Mushfiq Ansari, Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Mexico, emphasized that the nation must focus on peace and stability. “We have lost thousands of lives, as well as our dignity and honor. Not long ago, Bangladesh was recognized as a rogue state. Now, we are gaining a reputation as a courageous and victorious nation,” he stated. He insisted that those responsible for crimes, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, must face trial. However, he also noted that grassroots supporters who were once misled should be given a path to reintegration.
