Zahidul Islam, President of Islami Chhatra Shibir, wrote in a statement that honor is not something that can be seized by force. “Allah honors whomever He wills and disgraces whomever He wills. We surrender ourselves to His will,” he said. Zahidul added: “If our Lord is pleased and grants us even a small measure of dignity in this world, that is sufficient. Above all, may He be pleased with us in the Hereafter and accept us into His Paradise. Ameen.”
